We take the elevator down with our brand new baby and the nurse. She is escorting us out of the hospital as per protocol. On our way down she tells us not to be alarmed by all the law enforcement in front of the hospital. I immediately grab my phone to check the news. Bomb threats all over the country, including at CNN, which is close to the hospital. We order an Uber and try to find it a couple of blocks away. My husband is carrying the car seat with our sweet 2 day old and I try not to freak out. Welcome to motherhood!
