The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
The coaching relationship is a collaborative partnership based on trust. It is a confidential process, where you are able to explore your thoughts in a non-judgmental space.
People often come to coaching when facing transitions in their personal and/or professional lives and need guidance to navigate these changes successfully. You may also seek out a coach when you are looking to make a change, or want to move forward, in your life but currently feel like you are at crossroads.
I am certified in the Co-Active Coaching Model through the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). Accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Co-Active coach training program has been called the “gold standard” of coaching by the Institute of Coaching, a Harvard Medical School affiliate that has linked the four cornerstones of the Co-Active Model to evidence-based scientific research.
The Co-Active Coaching Model operates on the principle that clients are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole, and thus capable of finding their own answers to challenges with the support of a coach. This method integrates life and work experiences as a whole, encouraging clients to set goals, take action, and maximize their personal and professional potential.
I primarily work with my clients in a virtual setting but am also available for in-person meetings in the Seattle area, where I currently reside, or when visiting the Netherlands. Our initial meeting will last 60 minutes, during which we will discuss in detail what you are looking to achieve through coaching. Any subsequent sessions will typically last 45 minutes.
Yes. Since I am certified in the Co-Active Coaching Model, I am able—and have experience—working with anyone who is interested in coaching. Given my professional background, I often work with individuals who work in professional services firms. I am also passionate about working with (female) founders looking to start or grow their businesses.
I offer 30 minute complimentary sessions for us to get to know eachother. During this session we will talk about what brings you to coaching, your goals, and any other questions you may have. I will also offer some sample coaching and leave time to discuss any practical matters.
